The most common descriptors to the Argentine Malbec is its balanced texture, deep plum color and round deep flavors. Fresh but complex production with scents of prunes, figs and a soft hints of tobacco and vanilla. It is perfectly paired with cheeses, dry fruits such as nuts to stand out its tannic taste. Aspect: Intense Granite with gleams of violaceous tints.
Scent: Complex scent of figs, soft tobacco, black currant, and berries with traces of red pepper typical of a Merlot, followed by secondary aromas of vanilla and caramel.
Taste: Cherry and currants, vigorous tannin with a subtle acidity, fresh and unctuous, delightful at the end of the tongue.

Pairings: Dishes such as pates, duck, substantial casseroles or stews, and traditional pastas are a great companion to this wholesome wine. Ferllen Merlot is also known to bring out the taste in savory pork, liver, and turkey and goes well with white meats such as honey-roasted ham.
